On Apr 24th, Sanbot robots’ group dance, with rhythm of “The toy in the Showcase” Kicked off the opening ceremony of the Science Festival in Shenzhen Fengrun Kindergarten.
Themed by “I Participate, I Experience, I enjoy”, it was the first Science Festival the kindergarten held. The purpose of the festival activity was to arouse all the children in the kindergarten to participate activities, explore by themselves and to find scientific miracles with their eyes, their hands and their mind.
Sanbot is one of the most attractive elements at the festival. All the children surrounded them at their first sight of the intelligent educational robot. Every child strove to be the first to interact with Sanbot and asked serious interesting questions. Never scared, Sanbot responded flexibly and fluently to the kids’ inquiries and their outstanding intelligence garnered approve and sought-after receipt.
Sanbot robot never loses to others when she hosts programs at big events. Sanbot once played the role of host CCTV programs in Beijing and Bazaarvoice Summit at the AT&T center in Texas. Here again, Sanbot went on to host programs in the kindergarten. They performed intelligently, humorously and interestingly during the program processes. Their styles of hosting programs and smart interaction received applauds and cheers from the whole garten.
With the instructions of Sanbot, the teachers lead the kids to conduct live experiments including “volcano eruption” and electricity generation with citric acid, etc. It was very different and unique to realize the technology in people’s lives in the convenient and novel way. The live experiments conduction brought massive of interests of the scientific acknowledgement, built the scientific concept, to cultivate their awareness of technology innovation.
After the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhao, the parent of a kid educated in the kindergarten, told that, “The activity was very meaningful to kids. The kids in kindergarten are too small to understand what science is. The advanced AI robot's participating in the activity is of much fun to kids and arose their curiosities. They can learn much more than that in books.”
The on-going education reform is aimed to keep up with the rapidly developing step, thus parents and teachers should cultivate kids’ concept of diligent thought and brave breakthrough. “Robot + Education” will be the new status of future education. With the advantage of open API platform, developing SDK and service files adhering to Qihan Cloud and ROS, Sanbot build an artificial intelligent ecosystem, enabling developers to customize the functions on top of Sanbot by themselves. This will not only teach the information and knowledge to the educatee, but also the educatee can master the learning skills, which is the new trend of future education.
